League Play

Pelican Sound is home to award winning teams in both Men’s and Ladies’ USPTA leagues with some teams competing at the State and National levels. There are many popular tennis leagues at Pelican Sound ranging from 2.0 to 4.0 with new leagues forming each season. Each league has its own set of fees, roster requirements, playing days and times. At Pelican Sound, these teams exist as the result of the efforts of volunteer captains. Interested players are directed to the team captains prior to the fall league season. Members of teams are also sought out and selected by the team captain. Playing positions on teams are generally not available to walk-ons due to league roster rules.
