Membership

All the privileges of membership at Pelican Sound Golf and River Club and its many amenities are included upon purchase of your home. Pelican Sound is a non-equity club; it is a member owned and operated private gated bundled community.

Benefits of Membership

Members have use of formal and casual Golf Club and River Club dining, a beautifully
maintained 27-hole championship private golf course, a practice aqua range,
short game practice range & putting green, reciprocal golf and dining privileges with select local Golf & Country Clubs (May through October) golf schools, private lessons and golf clinics, six lit Har-Tru tennis courts, a host of activities and clubs, special events, six pools and spas, gulf access from the Estero River via Pelican Sound’s private boat ramp, outdoor dry boat storage, a fitness center, canoe and kayak park, a boat shuttle to Lover’s Key State Park and nature trails.

Membership Club Dues

An annual assessment is paid each year at the end of December to Pelican Sound’s master association. The Club dues cover the upcoming year’s budgeted operational costs and replacement reserves.

Neighborhood Association’s Fee

Most associations have a quarterly condo fee which covers cost specific to that association; therefore, fees vary from neighborhood to neighborhood.

»An Application for Approval to Purchase must be completed and returned to the Neighborhood Home Owners Association.

After the Closing

Please bring your closing papers with you to your scheduled appointment, as we will need a copy for our records. At your new member orientation, we will complete the process by setting up an account, assigning your membership number, issuing your Photo ID Member Cards and arranging for a parking pass or permanent parking decal. We will also review important rules, answer your questions and give you a Member’s Handbook and “Welcome Packet” of information for you to take home and review to help acquaint you with the rules of the Club and its many activities. Congratulations! Now it’s time to enjoy the many opportunities included with your membership at Pelican Sound.

If your purchase was a mail-away closing, please arrange to have a copy of the closing (HUD) statement sent to the Accounting Office via mail or fax; your closing agent or Title Company will be happy to accommodate this request. Complete and return the forms mentioned above and we will contact you via email or mail with your membership number, website user name, password and a copy of the member newsletter. Please contact us and schedule an appointment prior to your first visit for the New Member Orientation.
